What the Candle Knows
A candle does not strain to be seen. It does not reach toward the corners of the room. It simply burns, and the room receives it.
Awareness is the same. It does not need to be enlarged or refined. It already is what it is — quiet, complete, sufficient.
The old contemplatives knew this. They did not chase brighter inner experiences. They sat with what was already burning, until they understood it was them.
